In daily printing operations, the printing press will spray white fine powder on the surface of the paper at the same time of printing, so that the ink will not stick to the back of the paper; However, everything has two sides, the dosage of powder spray properly used can achieve the purpose of preventing sticky flowers, if the powder spray more will also bring a lot of trouble to the operation of the printing process, and even may make the whole batch of printed products scrapped. The most direct manifestation of powder spraying is that there will be a large area of white spot phenomenon on the surface after the film is covered. Then, when we spray more powder in printing, what should we do? Let me share with you some of the solutions that we have come up with in our work.
Method 1: Automatic laminating machine powder removal (suitable for large quantities of printed matter)
Automatic laminating machine is equipped with efficient powder removal equipment at the front end of the machine, and the powder removal device can often be achieved before the paper is not gelatinized.
Method 2: Wipe the surface of the paper with a pure cotton dry towel (suitable for small batch prints)
Wipe the surface of the paper with a pure cotton towel to control the wiping force, if the force is too strong, it is possible to scratch the surface of the print.
Method 3: If method 1 and Method 2 are not useful, then use the press to re-air printing, no matter how much powder is sprayed on the surface of the paper, this method can basically achieve the effect of removal.
If the previous three methods do not help, then you can only re-print.
